The patients of the gynecology and urogynecology department of Wigmore Clinic can receive specialized medical care, early diagnosis of diseases, treatment, and surgical intervention, if necessary. In the department, the patients can have their annual prophylactic medical examination, perform cytology of the cervix, transvaginal sonography and breast examination.
The doctors of the urogynecological team perform all interventions aimed at the treatment of pelvic organs and urinary incontinence. The urodynamics device of the latest generation is used to diagnose all types of involuntary urination.
For the first time in Armenia, a visitor can correct the complete protrusion of the pelvic organs without surgery, using special pessaries.
The gynecological team carries out an accurate diagnosis of precancerous conditions of the cervix using the latest generation colposcope, which allows to plan microsurgical intervention on the cervix as needed, avoiding unnecessary interventions.
The clinic uses an exclusive method of intraoperative uterine artery clipping, which enables the removal of myomas of any size, location and quantity, avoiding large blood loss, preserving the uterus, giving the woman the opportunity of pregnancy.
