MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

The doctors of the newly opened service of Wigmore Women's and Children's Hospital  carry out conservative and surgical treatment of children with pathologies of the maxillofacial region, in accordance with international standards. The service is equipped with the necessary modern equipment and tools.

Specialized treatment of various diseases is carried out:

  • Tooth-borne (odontogenic) inflammatory diseases of the jaws
  • Non-odontogenic inflammatory diseases of the maxillary and neck tissues
  • Injuries of the maxillary region
  • Salivary gland lesions
  • Temporomandibular joint diseases
  • Tumors and tumor-like growths of the jaws, maxillary tissues and neck
  • Congenital clefts of the upper lip and palate (popularly known as cleft lip and cleft palate)
  • Congenital abnormalities of the tongue and upper lip folds
